De IJzeren Man 

This lake with its special name near the Vughtse Heide nature reserve offers something for everyone. Nature lovers can marvel at the beautiful wooded area. In the summer there is every opportunity to enjoy swimming and recreation in the water, to sunbathe on the longest beach in Brabant or to enjoy a drink or a snack in the Strandhuys or the Beach Pavilion. 

Nat. Park Loonse en Drunense Duinen 

In the Loonse en Drunense Duinen you will find forest, heathland and especially a lot of sand. It is one of the largest shifting sand areas in Western Europe. The wind can blow undisturbed in many places, resulting in an ever-changing landscape. That, and the changing of the seasons, make every visit a new experience. You can stroll on the sand plain. So there is plenty of room to explore extensively. Marvel at the submerged trees, enjoy the chirping field crickets and quench your thirst at the many catering establishments on the edge of this nature reserve.

Safaripark Beekse bergen – Hilvarenbeek 

In Safari Park Beekse Bergen you come face to face with wild animals. Go on a safari through the beautiful nature and make a unique journey. You can do this by car, bus or boat. If you want, you can even opt for a walking safari and explore everything on foot. After your journey of discovery, you can of course also play. There are nice playground equipment for climbing and scrambling. Or watch the birds of prey show, for example. As you can see, plenty of fun for young and old.

‘s-Hertogenbosch

Den Bosch is a city of many faces. Stroll through the historic city center and discover what awaits at the end of the countless old alleys. Sniff up culture in, for example, the Noordbrabants Museum, Design Museum Den Bosch, the magnificent St. John's Cathedral and the old town hall. 

Real Burgundians get their money's worth in the many cafes and restaurants in the city. After all, a visit to Brabant is not possible without a nice beer in the pub or a delicious extensive meal. And of course you can also shop to your heart's content in the many shops in the heart of the city. 

Cruise on the Binnendieze
‘s-Hertogenbosch 

A boat trip on the Binnendieze is a special experience. Like any city with canals and canals, a boat trip gives a completely different experience of such a city. This certainly applies to Den Bosch!

The fun but above all educational experience gives a special view of the city. The helmsmen and helmswomen know their trade and not only sail the route, but also tell the details. Boarding: Molenstraat: jetty opposite Molenstraat 15a – Voldersgat: Hoek Zuidwal – Oude Dieze.

St. Janskathedraal
‘s-Hertogenbosch

St. John's Cathedral is a must see when you visit Den Bosch. The Gothic church has double flying buttresses, decorated by almost a hundred flying buttress figures. The many stained glass windows in the church tell a clear story and very impressive are the tombstones you walk over and which you can sometimes read with great difficulty.

The serene tranquility in the church provides the opportunity for reflection. It is also possible to light a candle in many places in the church.

Experience St. John during the guided tours of the cathedral, the tower and the museum. In a few hours, the ancient history of this beautiful monument comes to life. You will find the Sint-Jan on the Parade in 's-Hertogenbosch.

The fortified town of Heusden

Heusden is one of the fortified towns of the Zuiderwaterlinie. The town is beautifully situated on the Maas, about 15 kilometers west of Den Bosch. The town hall is an excellent starting point for a historic day in Heusden. This also includes the tourist office. It is interesting to walk on the ramparts, you will pass marinas and medieval city gates.

There is a Heemtuin, a castle ruin, there are several museums, restaurants with terraces and you can enjoy a cruise on the Maas.

Visit monasteries in Boxtel 

The village of Boxtel is located exactly between the three major cities of Tilburg, Eindhoven and Den Bosch. Boxtel is characterized by the various monasteries that once stood in this village and that you can still find.

In addition, Boxtel also has a beautiful church: the St. Peter's Basilica. This church has a Gothic look and comes from the 16th century.

There are several museums in Boxtel. The Oertijdmuseum, the MUBO museum, Stichting museum Vekemans and for car enthusiasts there is the Classic Park. This last museum is located outside the center of Boxtel and has a large collection of old cars.

Castle village Sint-Oedenrode

Sint-Oedenrode is located in the middle of the valley of the Dommel, near Den Bosch. The village was in an important strategic position during the war and therefore has a number of impressive war memorials.

This village was once declared the greenest village in Europe!

In the middle of all the parks, the stately Sint-Martinuskerk is a beautiful sight, as are no less than three castles: Kastel Henkenshage, Kasteel de Laar and Kasteel Dommelrode.

Tip: take a boat trip on the gently flowing river Dommel.

Our Brasserie is open from 12 noon. You can contact us for a delicious cup of coffee, tasty lunch dishes, dinners and various snacks. Our extensive menu offers a wide choice of dishes.

Parking your car is no problem. We have a spacious parking lot in front of the door. Our kitchen is open until 8 pm. Afterwards we will of course serve the most delicious snacks.

Pancake house “Het wonderbos”

Pannenkoekenhuis Het Wonderbos is a restaurant in Cromvoirt, just a 3-minute walk from Résidence de Leuvert.

For children:
The children can experience Het Wonderbos in the indoor play area. Nice playhouse, skippy balls, cushions and chalkboards on which the children can draw their own Wonderbos. In the restaurant area it is also a great experience with a special color and paint table and a surprise and coloring page with every children's pancake and children's menu.

De Efteling 

The Efteling in Kaatsheuvel is probably the most famous amusement park in the Netherlands and perhaps also the most loved by young and old. With its fairytale atmosphere, the park always appeals to the imagination and the varied attractions with their iconic music ensure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face.

Children of all ages will be amazed at the enchanting Fairytale Forest and the breathtaking park shows and scream with excitement on spectacular rollercoasters such as the Python and the Flying Dutchman. It is not for nothing that Efteling is a household name in the Netherlands and abroad.

Het Klimbos 

The IJzeren Man Klimbos in Vught was proudly opened on 17 October! It has not just become a climbing forest, it is one of the largest in the Benelux with 15 climbing routes consisting of more than 135 different climbing parts and ziplines. Good for almost 2 kilometers of climbing fun! And that's not all.. From a height of up to 20 meters you can look out over the entire Iron Man. Beautiful!

Young and old can climb, zipline and clamber over nets here.
